How to arrive at PEI’s Sunsets and Sea Lights

You can get to Prince Edward Island by flying, driving or ferry ride.

 

 

 

 

FROM THE CONFEDERATION BRIDGE

From the Bridge, you continue on

Trans Canada Hwy 1 until you reach a flashing

Orange light.  Turn LEFT onto Hwy 10 North

– sign indicates Bedeque                                                 2.7               2.7                                                              

Follow Bedeque sign and turn LEFT onto

Hwy 112 AKA Searletown Road                                      6.9               9.6

 

Turn LEFT onto Hwy 119 AKA  Fernwood Drive

– sign indicates Chelton                                                   2.9               12.5

 

You’ll come to a fork in the road.  Stay to your

Left.  You are now on Chelton Road                                1.1               13.6

 

You will then see a warning of a sharp left turn to

Chelton. Do not take this turn. Go straight onto a

Dirt road – Campbell’s Shore Road                                 1.3               14.9  

 

Keep going for another 1.8 km. Just before reaching

the Northumberland Strait, turn LEFT

onto Gibson Lane                                                                             16.7

 

We are the first house to your right.

 

 

DIRECTIONS FROM THE AIRPORT

At the Airport terminal exit, turn LEFT onto Hwy 15.

Continue for                                                                    1km             1km

 

Just before you reach the set of lights, turn RIGHT

Hwy 1 – sign indicates Borden Carleton

                                 

 

Pass 2 sets of lights. At 4.5 km, you’ll reach a STOP

Sign and flashing Red light.

Turn LEFT toward the Confederation Bridge on

Hwy 1 west                                                                     3.5km          4.5km

 

At lights, turn RIGHT to Hwy 1 west                               1.2km          5.6km

 

Continue following Borden-Carleton on Trans

Canada Hwy 1

 

At 49.5 km, you’ll see a sign to Confederation Bridge,

centre lane.  You have just taken a bit of a left turn            43.9             49.5

 

At 54.2 km, you’ll turn RIGHT at a flashing

Orange light onto Hwy 10 North – sign indicates

Follow Bedeque sign and turn LEFT onto

Hwy 112 AKA Searletown Road                                      6.9               61.1

 

Turn LEFT onto Hwy 119 AKA  Fernwood Drive

You’ll come to a fork in the road.  Stay to your

Left.  You are now on Chelton Road                                1.1               65.1

 

You will then see a warning of a sharp left turn to

Chelton. Do not take this turn. Go straight onto a

Dirt road – Campbell’s Shore Road                                 1.3               66.4

 

Keep going for another 1.8 km. Just before reaching

the Northumberland Strait, turn LEFT onto Gibson

Chelton. Do not take this turn. Go straight onto a

Keep going for another 1.8 km. Just before

Reaching the Northumberland Strait, turn LEFT
